Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead Groomy Pet’s operational activities. The role focuses on driving efficiency, implementing strategic initiatives, and supporting overall business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving business objectives through high‑standard customer experience and resource management.
• Coordinate HR functions including contract signing, health insurance, and Emirates ID issuance.
• Apply approved operational protocols across the organization.
• Assist in preparing annual business plans and budgets, monitor departmental performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership to Operations, Marketing, and Finance departments to optimize resource utilization and productivity.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Executive to develop revenue‑driving marketing strategies and digital assets.
• Oversee tender processes and facility purchases.
• Conduct expense analysis, cost‑benefit studies, and recommend measures to senior management.
• Ensure staffing with competent personnel and promote staff training and development.
• Monitor industry trends in the pet sector and propose expansion opportunities based on market demand.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably in a service‑oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a high‑performance culture.
