Director, Private Banking

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking a Director for its Private Banking division to manage a high‑value client book and drive new revenue. You will be responsible for growing a portfolio of approximately USD 750 million and generating between USD 4 million and 12 million in revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand existing client relationships while identifying and converting new prospects.
• Collaborate with the Private Banking Investments Team to design tailored banking solutions.
• Explore investment opportunities aligned with each client’s risk appetite.
• Conduct quarterly account reviews with Investment Advisors and present investment proposals.
• Work closely with Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Banking, and Asset Management to originate direct investment opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships across all ENBD business lines and introduce clients to senior team members for enhanced relationship management.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; MBA in Finance preferred; CFA or equivalent qualification desirable.
• At least 4 years of relevant financial services experience, including 1 year in Middle Eastern markets.
• Strong knowledge of assets & liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management, and investment products.
• Understanding of compliance, due diligence, AML regulations, and standard banking procedures.
• Familiarity with legal structures such as offshore entities and trusts.
• Fluent English.
