About the role
To support the dispatch team in executing dispatch activities in line with the delivery plan, ensuring the company meets its commercial and site objectives. The role involves coordinating the timely dispatch of finished materials to construction sites and handling returned items.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Dispatch team in dispatching as required and as instructed by the respective artisan.
- Arrange finished material to be dispatched to the site in an organized and timely manner enabling the site workmen to adhere to the installation schedule and meet the contractual agreement.
- Follow daily dispatch schedules and prioritize deliveries as instructed by Dispatch Supervisor.
- Check and arrange proper packing of finished products and ensure transportation of materials to site without any damage.
- Receive returned materials from site, verify them against delivery notes and maintain accurate records of all returned materials.
Required profile
- Minimum Senior Secondary School education.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in dispatch or logistics.
