Distribution & Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Distribution & Reconciliation Specialist (Logistic Coordinator) will play a pivotal role within AbbVie’s Gulf‑Levant affiliate, ensuring that logistics planning aligns with demand forecasting and that distributor interactions are accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Free of Charge (FOC) policy process from application through execution and reconciliation, monitoring distributor sales and stock reports.
• Validate figures with Key Account Managers and ensure timely proof of delivery for each transaction.
• Coordinate with distributors and the commercial team to maintain alignment and compliance throughout the process.
• Establish systematic communication protocols with distributors to enable accurate data exchange and swift issue resolution.
• Record orders in the internal tracker and follow up on delivery status with global supply and logistics teams in the Netherlands and the US.
• Generate and share order status reports with management, commercial teams, and distributors.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, keeping shipment and customs documentation up to date.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or commercial support within a multinational environment.
• Preferably holds a degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Expert use of Excel Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
