Document Controller (Emirati National)

About the role

The Document Controller will manage all project documentation and correspondence, ensuring accurate control, distribution, tracking, and filing of project records. The role supports the supervision team and coordinates document flow among client, consultant and contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project document control systems and registers.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Manage transmittals, RFIs, submittals, drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure proper document numbering, tracking, and version control.
• Support the supervision team with document retrieval and reporting.
• Monitor workflow turnaround times and maintain audit trails.
• Coordinate document distribution between client, consultant, and contractor.
• Ensure compliance with company and project document management procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in document control on construction or engineering projects.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Aconex.
• Proficiency in EDMS.
• Proficiency in SharePoint.
