Document Controller – Engineering Documents

About the role

The Document Controller will ensure the efficient handling of all engineering documents for Emirates Electrical Engineering. The role includes data gathering, file management, report consolidation and providing cross‑departmental support to maintain high‑quality documentation throughout project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Document Control Management System in line with ISO standards.
• Monitor document control requirements and recommend system enhancements.
• Distribute documents, manage electronic folders, track and retrieve drawings and files.
• Prepare drawings, computer graphics and technical submissions as directed by senior managers.
• Expedite document returns, approvals and comments from internal and external parties within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in document control within an engineering or construction environment.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
