Document Controller

About the role

To archive and maintain incoming and outgoing project related documents and drawings as well as general documents. The role involves handling both project‑related and general documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively follow the company’s standard operating procedures for the submission of all documents.
• Type, format, proofread, and edit all correspondence and other documents.
• Receive, scan, and distribute documents to concerned employees.
• Ensure that all documents are dispatched to the respective recipients in a timely manner.
• Maintain and classify drawings (e.g., workshop drawings, as‑built).
• Maintain and update a drawing log periodically.
• Locate and retrieve any documents/drawings requested from authorized users by searching through files and documents.
• Maintain an effective tracking process for all incoming and outgoing project‑related documents.
• Ensure that all documents and drawings remain confidential.
• Ensure that all documents are submitted in accordance with quality standards and submitted punctually.

Required profile

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
