Document Controller - MEP

About the role

Innovo Group is hiring a Document Controller for MEP projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The role covers document control and records management, administrative support, and operational and project support, while complying with HSE and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate controlled documentation across assigned projects and perform document control within the validated master control system
• Receive, send and prepare documents, keeping accurate records of receipt and issue in transmittals, registers and filing systems
• Maintain project documents in hard copy and electronic form, and keep daily logs updated
• Respond to corrective actions, handle calls and faxes to the Project Director, and manage correspondence through MS Outlook and ACONEX
• Prepare letters, memos and documents such as Transmittals, Clearance, CVI, RFI, O&M and Asset Registers
• Arrange weekly MEP reports and assist in planning meetings and conferences
• Process leave applications, update daily manpower attendance, and prepare petty cash summaries and payment certificates
• Compile project documents for client handover and coordinate with other site offices and subcontractors
• Follow HSE and sustainability policies, report incidents and violations, and adhere to quality standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
• 3+ years of experience, preferably on a construction site
• Able to work independently and under supervision, with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands

Required skills

• Excellent PC skills, including MS Office
• Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize with attention to detail
