Doorman – Concierge Team (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly and professional Doorman to join its Concierge team. You will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless entry experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the hotel entrance, open doors and provide a courteous first impression.
• Assist with vehicle doors, luggage handling and escort guests to the lobby efficiently.
• Respond to guest requests such as arranging taxis, giving directions or directing them to relevant hotel services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions and transportation options.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Friendly, caring attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow service standards.
• Physical stamina to handle luggage and stand for long periods.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
