Doorman – Luxury Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Lana, part of the Dorchester Collection, is seeking a professional Doorman to welcome guests at its iconic Dubai property. You will be the first point of contact, creating a warm and memorable first impression for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring a hospitable atmosphere.
• Assist with luggage delivery, collection, and coordination with porters and drivers.
• Provide accurate information and directions, handling special requests and challenges with flexibility.
• Support other front‑of‑house team members to maintain seamless guest experiences.
• Uphold the brand’s values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity in daily interactions.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Physical ability to handle luggage and stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• Professional guest greeting and concierge etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of luggage handling equipment.
