Draughtsman (AutoCAD)

About the role

The Draughtsman will produce accurate AutoCAD drawings that support the execution of construction and interior fit‑out projects. Working closely with architects, project managers and consultants, the role ensures design intent is clearly communicated and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules as directed by the principal, client or consultant.
• Incorporate client or consultant change requests promptly to secure drawing approvals.
• Survey sites and generate as‑built drawings, guaranteeing precision and completeness for timely project execution.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information and provide additional documentation when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience operating AutoCAD, preferably on construction or interior fit‑out projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed construction drawings.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and translate observations into accurate as‑built documentation.
