Draughtsman – Infrastructure Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman to produce detailed engineering, shop, as‑built, and technical layout drawings for bridge and infrastructure maintenance projects. The role supports the full design‑to‑construction lifecycle, ensuring drawings meet project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings based on engineering sketches, specifications, and site conditions.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and site teams to verify drawing accuracy.
• Generate drawings for bridge maintenance, structural repairs, civil works, and infrastructure improvements.
• Review and validate drawings for completeness, compliance, and adherence to company and client standards.
• Incorporate site modifications, maintain drawing records, and provide updated documents to field teams.
• Assist engineers with technical and material submissions and project documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of draughtsman experience on UAE infrastructure or bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and infrastructure requirements.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting and detailing).
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, BIM software, or similar drafting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
