Drone Cleaning Technician / Operator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Drone Cleaning Technician / Operator to safely operate advanced drone‑based cleaning systems on high‑rise buildings, facades, glass surfaces, solar panels, roofs and other exterior structures. The role involves planning, executing and documenting cleaning missions while ensuring compliance with UAE aviation and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate drone cleaning systems efficiently for façade, glass, solar panel, roof and other exterior surface cleaning.
• Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections, monitor weather and site conditions, and follow approved flight plans and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate flight logs, service reports and before‑and‑after photographs.
• Perform site risk assessments, establish safety zones and obtain necessary permits.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot drones, batteries, controllers, pumps, hoses and related accessories.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and site representatives to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to GCAA regulations, company HSE policies and use appropriate PPE at all times.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical or related field (preferred).
• Valid GCAA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) / Drone Pilot License – mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial drones, preferably in façade or high‑rise cleaning.
• Knowledge of UAE civil aviation regulations for commercial drone operations.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
