Duty Engineer – Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

As a Duty Engineer at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, you will ensure the hotel’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and operation of all hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee safety and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to engineering service calls, minimizing guest disruption.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Support team morale, training initiatives and budget management.
• Test fire prevention systems regularly and supervise daily maintenance activities.
• Participate in recruitment, contractor oversight and compliance with security standards.
