Early Childhood Teacher – Full‑Time

About the role

Our school in Fujairah is looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to deliver safe, developmentally appropriate programmes aligned with our curriculum. The successful candidate will create a nurturing learning environment that supports the physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt daily routines to meet the interests and needs of individual children and the group.
• Develop activities that promote literacy and math concepts.
• Ensure the facility and equipment are clean, well‑maintained and safe.
• Maintain and schedule weekly and monthly activities.
• Participate in ongoing staff and education development opportunities.
• Contribute to the evaluation of the programme’s goals and objectives.
• Plan and implement activities that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of students.
• Provide a safe classroom environment and supervise children at all times.
• Collaborate with heads of department, academics and the vice‑principal on curriculum development, lesson planning and assessment.
• Uphold high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour and safeguard health and safety.
• Register and monitor attendance of students under your care.
• Foster a culture where teachers act as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners.
• Make use of technology during lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a teacher.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education theories and practices.
• Ability to design safe and appropriate activities for preschool children.
• Effective communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑building, time‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Cultural awareness, flexibility and compassion.
