EC Operations Lead

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced Operations Lead to join the Dubai Experience Centre within Internal Firm Services. You will lead and develop the centre's operations so that customers receive the best possible experience, and you will report to the Experience Centre Lead as the single point of contact for all operations matters. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, digital and dynamic environment and enjoys developing and managing a team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate across functions and business units to streamline bookings, activities and events at the Experience Centre
• Work with other PwC Lines of Service and Business Units to organise client and internal events, workshops and meetings, and advise on space and technology use
• Gather event objectives, content, setup and AV/Tech details, and liaise with office support assistants and the AV Lead to plan and deliver events
• Manage the booking system (Google Calendar and physical space) so bookings are fair and conflict-free, and handle difficult conversations about doubtful bookings
• Control the flow of clients, greet them and lead tours explaining the space's operational and technical capabilities
• Manage catering orders for client meetings, projects and workshops, with quality control and service
• Develop the team through onboarding, training and coaching, and supervise office support assistants, receptionists and AV technicians
• Standardise processes, run daily quality checks, coach staff on visitor handling, and drive cost-reduction and productivity improvements
• Liaise with the office management team and external vendors, analyse KPIs to spot operational gaps, and resolve escalations
• Support recruitment, plan resourcing, create contingency plans and ensure policies and procedures are followed
