Ecommerce Merchandising & Operations Executive

About the role

The Ecommerce Merchandising & Operations Executive is responsible for the day‑to‑day commercial performance of assigned online storefronts. Reporting to the Ecommerce Operations Manager, the role drives sales growth by analysing performance data, diagnosing gaps and executing merchandising, product and campaign actions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily trading metrics (volume, conversion, revenue) against forecasts and take corrective actions to protect and grow online sales.
• Diagnose performance gaps at the product level using a structured driver analysis (sessions, conversion, stock, price) and engage the appropriate teams.
• Produce weekly trading reports that highlight forecast variance, top‑ and bottom‑performing products and recommended actions.
• Plan and execute the merchandising calendar, including launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns tailored to each market.
• Maintain catalogue accuracy, product data quality and site hygiene through bulk uploads and taxonomy standards.
• Support Arabic content localisation and collaborate with marketing and brand teams on creative assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Ecommerce or Retail.
• Minimum 3 years of site‑merchandising experience in an ecommerce, digital trading or retail buying environment.
• Strong commercial instinct with proven exposure to online sales performance.
