EHS Manager (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

The EHS Manager at The Hidden VC works remotely on a part‑time basis, shaping and overseeing environmental, health and safety practices for a distributed, primarily digital workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Assess health and safety risks linked to remote operations and occasional in‑person events.
• Create, update and enforce EHS policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate training programmes, develop safety guidelines and advise team members on safe work practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to embed EHS considerations into operational planning and budgeting.
• Provide timely reporting, recommendations and documentation to foster a safe and healthy work culture.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Experience with budgeting and resource planning for EHS initiatives.
• Background in medicine, occupational health or a related field.
• Proven ability to design and deliver EHS training.
• Knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards for remote work settings.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain clear documentation.
• Professional certification in EHS or occupational health is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, occupational safety, public health or a related discipline is beneficial.
