Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure (Dubai)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure) to join its Dubai team. The role involves performing conventional and moderately‑complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within the electrical discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, and technical reports.
• Define project scope, budget, schedule and provide technical direction while reporting status to stakeholders.
• Review and submit drawings for DEWA approval, coordinate with contractors and DEWA for LV/HV work, and maintain project records.
• Supervise sub‑ordinates, provide guidance to CAD designers and junior engineers, and support other engineering activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certificate may be required.
• 15+ years of experience managing construction and supervising building and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities such as DEWA, RTA and DM.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in a management capacity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering PC tools.
• Ability to perform detailed electrical design calculations.
