Electrical Inspector – Construction Supervision

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Inspector to join its construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations on site comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical installations, systems, and equipment at various construction stages.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify compliance issues.
• Perform detailed testing and analysis, including grounding, load calculations, circuit integrity, and safety mechanisms.
• Document inspection findings, test results, and non‑conformances in organized reports.
• Communicate results and corrective actions to project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise electrical contractors and workers on‑site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Identify code violations and safety hazards, recommending corrective measures and timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues.
