Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor

About the role

Air Liquide is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead the inspection, installation, and maintenance of a wide range of instrumentation and electrical equipment in its Ras Al Khaimah manufacturing plant. You will ensure that all systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the inspection, calibration, and preventive maintenance of tele‑metering devices, electric and programmable controllers, process meters, analyzers, and flow systems.
• Oversee installations, repairs, modifications, and testing of power distribution equipment, transformers, circuit breakers, and meters.
• Read, interpret, and direct work based on electrical and instrumentation plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Monitor subcontractors and internal teams performing electrical and electronic apparatus work, ensuring quality and safety.
• Estimate labor and material costs, prepare time‑and‑material reports, and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Document programming, testing, and updates; manage contractor and team attendance records.
• Support the safety program, provide training to staff, and foster a collaborative workshop environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in electrical and instrumentation supervision within an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage contractors, and control project costs.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
