Electrical Integration Engineer

About the role

Pulse Nova, one of EDGE's joint ventures, is hiring an Electrical Integration Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The engineer designs, develops and validates the electrical integration of radar, EW, C2 and sensor systems onto naval, ground and airborne platforms, defines power distribution, grounding, bonding, mounting and cable routing, prepares installation drawings and interconnection diagrams, leads hardware installation and supports safety checks, power-up and qualification testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate the electrical integration of radar, EW, C2 and sensor equipment onto naval, ground-vehicle and airborne/UAS platforms.
• Define equipment racking, mounting, power distribution, grounding/bonding and environmental protection solutions in line with MIL-STD-810G (or equivalent).
• Perform electrical interface analysis: weight and footprint budgets, power consumption, cooling and vibration/shock loading per platform.
• Prepare electrical installation drawings, interconnection diagrams and cable-routing plans.
• Lead and support physical installation of hardware, coordinating with installation technicians.
• Support electrical safety checks, power-up sequences and troubleshooting of electromechanical issues during integration and trials.
• Support environmental and qualification testing (vibration, shock, ingress protection, thermal).

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience integrating electronic equipment onto vehicles, vessels or aircraft.
• Willingness to travel to integration and test sites, including desert/field campaigns and naval facilities.

Required skills

• PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, etc.) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Industrial networks: Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP.
• Knowledge of power distribution, grounding/bonding and EMI shielding; familiarity with MIL-STD-810G.
• CAD tools for electrical layout; hands-on experience with installation tooling, torque specs and workmanship standards.
