Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Site Engineer to join Morgan Consulting Engineers in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on complex building projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on‑site installation of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV and other specialized electrical systems.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and codes such as NEC, NFPA and HTM.
• Conduct site inspections, verify progress and quality, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for compliance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover activities, including punch‑list completion.
• Maintain compliance with local authority regulations, environmental and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience, preferably on healthcare or large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
