Electrician – Engineering Team (Full‑time)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental’s Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Electrician to join its Engineering Department. The role involves operating, maintaining and repairing the hotel’s electrical systems to the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out preventive and routine maintenance, responding to guest requests within 15 minutes.
• Maintain clean uniforms, workshop and public areas and adhere to safety and security procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support for events and promotions.
• Follow supervisor instructions, work shifts and overtime as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an electrician in a luxury hotel or resort (preferred).
• Diploma/ITI certificate or equivalent qualification in Electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and manuals.
• Good communication skills and guest‑oriented attitude.
