Electronics Engineer – Pharmaceutical Production

About the role

Julphar is seeking an Electronics Engineer to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical production equipment and automation systems. You will work on a variety of manufacturing lines, supporting both preventive and corrective activities while adhering to GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose faults in PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Support automation for filling, blistering, cartoning, labeling, and inspection machines.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedule.
• Analyze breakdowns, implement corrective actions, and minimize downtime.
• Modify and optimise PLC programs under change‑control procedures.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with vendors and OEMs for technical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
• 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or packaging manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with automated production equipment and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and external vendors.
