Elevator & Escalator Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician specialized in elevators and escalators to join KONE’s Middle East, Turkey & Africa team. You will deliver high‑quality service, ensure equipment safety and performance, and act as the main point of contact for customers on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by providing accurate on‑site communication (ETA, job details) and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, respond to call‑outs, and execute unplanned service repairs.
• Report work performed in real time at equipment level and submit timesheets.
• Identify site risks, take immediate action on high‑risk issues, and follow escalation procedures.
• Maintain safety standards, follow maintenance and safety instructions, and keep tools and van in good condition.
• Support sales initiatives by raising opportunities to the supervisor.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputable elevator company.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic IT and digital foundation skills.
• Valid GCC driving licence.
