Emiratization Trainee - Engineering Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy Systems LLC is recruiting a trainee for its Emiratization Trainee Program in Abu Dhabi, within the Administration & Facilities category. The role covers commissioning, project engineering and project management support for energy projects, and fresh engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Commissioning and start-up support: assist with equipment testing, inspections, troubleshooting and system verification; review engineering drawings, equipment manuals and commissioning procedures; prepare commissioning reports, checklists and documentation.
• Project engineering support: prepare and review engineering designs and technical documentation; assist with engineering calculations, technical evaluations and design reviews; contribute to technical submissions, drawings, specifications and project deliverables.
• Project management support: help with project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring; support project reporting, risk tracking and action management; contribute to project controls, cost monitoring and project documentation; identify project risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams, and take part in engineering review meetings, stakeholder and project discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and calculations.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle concepts.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
