Employee Relations Manager, Customer Service

About the role

Amazon's Operations Employee Relations team is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead and shape workplace relations across the MENA and South Africa (ZAF) regions. You will partner with Operations and HR leaders to build a positive, engaged environment for both brick‑and‑mortar and remote customer‑service associates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, own, and execute the Employee Relations strategy for Egypt, Jordan, UAE, KSA, and South Africa.
• Collaborate with Ops and PXT regional leadership to align ER priorities with business objectives.
• Analyze associate and manager feedback to identify risks, gaps, and engagement opportunities.
• Create, audit, and sustain workplace‑relations programs across the region.
• Develop and deliver training that promotes best practices in employee relations.
• Manage crisis‑oriented situations, traveling as needed under tight timelines.
• Detect hidden risks within remote workforces and implement strong engagement plans.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in employee and labor relations with a track record of leading people.
• Demonstrated ability to influence Operations directors, managers, and HR partners.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret multi‑level feedback and data.
• Excellent communication skills with senior leaders, frontline managers, and associates.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned countries.
