Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a government entity in Dubai. The role focuses on managing employee relations cases, providing professional advice, and ensuring compliance with UAE labour law and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve employee relations cases in line with UAE labour law and internal policies.
• Provide advice to employees and management on ER matters, policies, and procedures.
• Handle grievances, complaints, disciplinary cases, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Prepare investigation reports and recommend appropriate actions based on findings.
• Support management with performance, misconduct, attendance, and workplace‑related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality for all ER cases.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures related to employee relations.
• Provide regular reports on ER trends and suggest improvement areas.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and other stakeholders on complex cases.
• Promote a positive and professional workplace environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, law, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of employee relations experience, preferably in a government or large organization.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and HR policies.
• Excellent investigation, communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience within the UAE government is an advantage.
