Energetics Systems Integration Lead

About the role

As the Energetics Systems Integration Lead you will own the end‑to‑end integration of missile subsystems, warheads, fuzes and payloads onto unmanned aerial platforms. You will work across engineering, safety, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure safe, reliable and high‑performance system delivery for defense customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical integration of missile components (airframe, propulsion, guidance, warhead, fuze) and ensure compliance with programme specifications and safety requirements.
• Oversee warhead and fuze integration activities, coordinating design, safety, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Integrate payloads onto UAVs, managing mechanical, electrical, software and system‑level interfaces.
• Develop and maintain integration test plans, procedures, acceptance criteria and verification activities.
• Ensure explosive handling, storage, transport and integration follow site‑specific ESSOPs and applicable regulations.
• Identify integration risks, interface conflicts and safety hazards early and drive mitigation to closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Systems Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in missile, UAV or defense systems integration and testing in a regulated environment.
• Hands‑on experience with warhead and fuze integration processes and associated safety protocols.
• Demonstrated expertise in safe handling, storage, transport and integration of explosives and energetic materials.
• Professional proficiency in English.
