Engine Technician - Scheduling (Grade 15)

About the role

The Technician works in the Aero Engine MRO division's Engine Operations department, reporting to the Supervisor, Principal Technician or Senior Technician. The role covers engine disassembly and assembly in line with approved technical data, with a strong focus on quality and health, safety and environment (HS&E). It is a full-time, direct employment position classified as Grade 15, with no supervisory duties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out the Total Engine Management process, spending about 80% of working time on disassembly and assembly in line with aviation and HS&E regulations.
• Mentor junior technicians and give them guidance, using about 15% of working time.
• Promote ethical leadership and a positive culture by acting as a trusted team member, raising concerns about unethical behaviour and encouraging honest feedback (about 5% of time).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational or technical training in aviation, aeronautical engineering, MRO or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in technical aviation or the MRO industry is preferred.
