Engineer Planning & Scheduling

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer Planning & Scheduling to develop and implement planning and scheduling orders in SAP‑PM for power and water assets. The role supports O&M activities by aligning maintenance plans with operational goals and minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for power and water assets, covering routine, preventive and reliability‑based activities.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to align schedules with operational demands.
• Create, prioritize and schedule work orders in SAP‑PM.
• Monitor progress of maintenance activities, adjust schedules as needed, and ensure efficient resource use.
• Track and analyse KPIs such as equipment uptime, completion rates and schedule adherence.
• Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance to management.
• Identify risks associated with maintenance activities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, work orders and performance metrics.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to planning and scheduling processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
