Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to bring cohesion to a fragmented Landing Page Builder team and drive the transition from a legacy product to an AI‑native solution. The role blends hands‑on development with strong people leadership in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Unify the Landing Page Builder group into a single unit with a shared sprint board and delivery cadence.
• Introduce rigorous Scrum practices: story sizing, sprint commitments, burndowns, and retrospectives.
• Manage a hybrid team of internal engineers and vendor developers through a legacy‑to‑AI product transition, including vendor off‑boarding and knowledge transfer.
• Balance parallel workstreams—maintaining the existing Builder while shipping the new AI Builder.
• Lead adoption of agentic engineering workflows and tooling.
• Partner with the CTO, VP of Product, peer Engineering Managers, and the Director of Data & AI/ML Engineering to ensure engineering input in roadmap discussions.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of engineering experience with 3+ years managing teams of 8+ in a SaaS setting.
• Proven track record delivering a legacy‑to‑modern product transition while maintaining existing services.
• Experience shipping AI‑powered or agentic features in production.
• Hands‑on “player‑coach” mindset, spending 30–40% of time on coding, code reviews, and pairing.
• Ability to work closely with a CTO, push back when needed, and develop senior engineers into technical leaders.
