Engineering Projects Officer

About the role

The Engineering Projects Officer supports Emirates' Engineering Projects team in evaluating, specifying and delivering new and used aircraft. The role focuses on cabin interior, inflight entertainment (IFE) and avionics specifications, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product data, technical specifications and performance data to finalise aircraft selections.
• Review baseline programs and industry trends to adapt specifications for new airplane programs.
• Develop 3D models, floor plans and layout designs using AutoCAD and other digital tools.
• Create and maintain a digital repository of cabin interior elements and specification documents.
• Conduct engineering studies, field data collection and produce technical drawings.
• Support Project Engineers in preparing confidential specifications, tender matrices and cost summaries.
• Coordinate aircraft deliveries with supporting departments and monitor project schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Aeronautical) or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience producing aircraft cabin interior drawings, layouts and design documentation.
• Good understanding of aircraft systems, components and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
