Engineering Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

The Engineering Purchasing Coordinator will manage the engineering inventory and purchasing processes for Four Seasons Resort Dubai, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely procurement of spare parts, tools and consumables. This role supports the hotel’s operational excellence by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the engineering inventory system for spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate, up‑to‑date and reflect stock levels, locations and supplier details.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, track usage and proactively replenish critical items.
• Control receipt, issuance, return and movement of inventory and tools, conducting regular stock counts.
• Coordinate purchase requisitions, verify specifications, quantities and documentation.
• Liaise with Purchasing, vendors, Receiving and Finance to manage orders, deliveries and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in engineering coordination, inventory control or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or facilities management.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and record‑keeping accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow tasks through to completion and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with inventory or purchasing management systems.
