Engineering Supervisor – Executive Apartments

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep and safe operation of all engineering systems within the Marriott Executive Apartments on Sheikh Zayed Road. This onsite role ensures that guest repair requests are addressed promptly while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and operate all shut‑off valves.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, including fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Manage inventory, order parts, and maintain purchase‑order logs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching engineering staff.

Required profile

• Technical, Trade or Vocational School degree.
• At least 2 years of related engineering or maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Power lift operation and handling of equipment up to 50 lb.
• Life‑safety system testing (fire‑pump, generator, sprinkler valves).
