Engineering Technician – Al Forsan

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Al Forsan International Sports Resort. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems to ensure safe and reliable operation throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning tools, electrical systems, generators, emergency lighting and related components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other devices; use testing instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance and manage maintenance inventory, requisitioning parts as needed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical or facilities maintenance.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and testing devices (ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope).
• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
• Preventative maintenance and inventory management.
