English (EAL) Teacher – Mamoura British Academy (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding English (EAL) Teacher for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, commencing in January 2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality English language instruction across the Lower, Middle and Senior School phases while supporting inclusion for SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Identify and differentiate instruction for SEN (POD), EAL and G&T students to ensure their progress.
• Utilise assessment for learning, performance data and ICT tools to inform planning and monitor student achievement.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy and uphold high standards of punctuality, behaviour and homework.
• Mark student work regularly, set clear targets, and record progress systematically.
• Prepare and present informative reports to parents and attend parent‑student events.
• Collaborate with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists as required.
• Contribute to curriculum development by reviewing and updating schemes of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven teaching experience in the English National Curriculum, preferably across multiple year groups.
• Experience in an international school setting is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and demonstrate resilience.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
