English Teacher – Government Schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & Al Dhafra

About the role

The UAE Ministry of Education is recruiting qualified English teachers for its government schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. You will deliver high‑quality English language instruction and create a learner‑focused environment that supports students’ academic growth and future success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, learner‑centered English lessons for grades 1–12.
• Implement the national English Language Curriculum effectively.
• Maintain a language‑rich classroom that promotes English development.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with MOE standards.
• Provide targeted support to students based on identified learning needs.
• Collaborate with lead teachers, specialists and parents to enhance teaching resources.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, training programmes and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, English Language & Literature, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years (with teaching qualification) or 3 years (without qualification) of full‑time teaching experience.
• Valid teaching certification such as UAE Ministry of Education Teaching License, B.Ed/M.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, H.D.E/H.E.D, NTS, DELTA (Level 5) or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
