English Teacher (K‑12, AP/IB Curriculum)

About the role

We are seeking native‑English speaking teachers to deliver high‑quality English instruction to K‑12 students across our network of schools in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City. The role involves teaching either the AP or IB curriculum, depending on the campus, and contributing to a world‑class learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons in line with AP or IB standards.
• Prepare engaging instructional materials and adapt them for diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to align cross‑subject initiatives.
• Participate in faculty meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Required profile

• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Bachelor’s degree in the subject taught, plus a teaching licence or a postgraduate education degree.
• For kindergarten and primary levels, a Bachelor’s in Education is required.
• Minimum two years of post‑graduate teaching experience in the relevant subject.
• Ability to provide professional references; teaching licence preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
• Knowledge of College Board Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
