Enterprise Account Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Enterprise Account Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers one or more large accounts or acts as account lead for a major part of a top account, driving profitability and pipeline while acting as the customer's advocate inside HPE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large accounts, build and maintain a strong pipeline and close deals, including high-complexity, multi-disciplinary ones involving partners
• Build and develop relationships with key IT and business decision-makers and the extended partner ecosystem
• Lead the extended account team, run governance and give regular feedback
• Position HPE's strategy and solutions to the customer's C-level executives and contribute to their innovation agenda
• Keep up to date with IT trends and HPE products, services and competitive differentiators
• Advocate for the customer across HPE and coordinate with other customer-facing HPE organizations

Required profile

• Typically 8-12+ years of account management experience, with a strong track record of sales performance
• University or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; engineering or technology education, advanced degree or MBA desired
• Experience in a vertical industry preferred; experience in different sales roles is a plus
