Environmental Manager

About the role

The Environmental Manager will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental (HSE) systems across our Abu Dhabi site, ensuring compliance with international standards and local legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the HSE Management System in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and ensure hierarchy of controls for all operational activities.
• Lead site HSE inspections, audits and monitor high‑risk tasks such as working at height, confined space entry and lifting operations.
• Manage incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE reporting systems, KPIs and non‑conformance tracking, and deliver training and toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and environmental legislation.
• Experience in construction, fabrication or industrial environments with safety‑critical activities.
• Proven ability to lead audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to train and influence site teams and subcontractors.
