Environmental Test Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

EDGE Group’s REMAYA division is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyse environmental tests for defence platforms at the Abu Al Abyad Test Range and off‑site facilities. The role supports clients from test concept through to data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design optimal environmental tests using vibration shakers, climatic chambers, pressure chambers, and rain test chambers.
• Develop test fixtures and detailed test procedures for technicians.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and format data for analysis.
• Ensure equipment usage complies with range documentation and maintain technology watch for equipment optimisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and safety within the testing domain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of MIL‑STD‑810‑G and other relevant environmental testing standards.
• Basic knowledge of dynamics, vibration, thermodynamics and related data analysis techniques.
