Escrow Manager

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for an Escrow Manager in Dubai to oversee the daily operations of its escrow department. The role ensures efficient and accurate processing of escrow transactions, manages escrow accounts, coordinates with all parties involved and keeps compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting staff and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily escrow requests and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Own the product roadmap, prioritise the backlog by business value, risk and delivery capacity, and collaborate with Product Managers, developers, QA and other stakeholders.
• Assist with test planning, UAT, defect triage and final sign-off, and ensure solutions meet internal policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.
• Address client inquiries promptly, resolve issues and build relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Ensure escrow activities comply with laws, regulations and industry standards, and identify and mitigate risks to safeguard client funds.
• Improve escrow processes continuously and prepare regular performance reports, including key metrics and compliance status.
• Monitor and manage the department's finances, including budgeting and fee collection, and prepare audit reports and regulator requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement on vendor invoices, review client agreements and service standards, and educate clients on escrow laws and their rights.

Required profile

• Minimum university degree; understanding of escrow laws, regulations and practices as an escrow agent.
• At least 5 years of banking experience, with some corporate or project finance experience preferred.
• Fluent business English and Arabic, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle a high workload under pressure, with strong work ethics, analytical thinking and teamwork.

Preferred skills

• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI and SQL.
