Estimation Engineer (MEP & Civil)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer (MEP & Civil) to prepare precise cost estimates, material take‑offs and tender submissions for multidisciplinary projects across the UAE. The role involves collaborating with design teams, vendors and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Extract exact quantities from civil, architectural and MEP drawings and prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Build unit rate analyses, financial tender packages and issue RFQs to vendors.
• Negotiate quotes, evaluate subcontractor proposals and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Ensure estimates comply with local UAE standards (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defence, Municipalities) and support pre‑ and post‑tender activities, including site visits and technical RFIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 4–6 years of estimation experience in the UAE construction sector covering MEP and civil/fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE material prices, labour rates and measurement standards (POMI, CESMM, FIDIC).
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills; Arabic is a plus.
