Estimation Manager

About the role

Dubai Holding Real Estate is seeking an Estimation Manager to lead high‑level cost estimating activities that support business development and ensure projects meet target budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑level cost estimates and target budgets to assist the business development team.
• Review cost plans from consultants, cross‑check quantities, benchmark rates and ensure alignment with client budgets.
• Calculate major construction cost estimates and support planning, negotiation and contract execution.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and propose cost‑saving measures.
• Lead cost‑review meetings, obtain market quotations and coordinate with vendors.
• Utilise on‑screen take‑off and estimating software to prepare and price Bills of Quantities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying (Master’s preferred); RICS membership desirable.
• 6‑8 years of construction cost experience, including at least 2 years as an estimator.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and project documentation.
• Project management skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches.
• Familiarity with CAD software and industry best practices.
