Estimator – Construction & Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

The Estimator will support the Estimating Manager in preparing realistic and competitive cost estimates for labour and materials required for construction and interior fit‑out projects. This enables senior management to assess economic viability and decide on tender participation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and verify labour and material costs from internal sources and external quotations to produce competitive estimates for management review.
• Prepare post‑award job summaries detailing labour, material quantities, quality specifications, and costs in line with client requirements.
• Assist in implementing cost‑effective estimating strategies in coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
• Finalize tenders using the Cost Control System (CCS) and prepare BOQs from drawings for manager approval.
• Support the Chief Estimator in drafting pre‑ and post‑completion cost reports to evaluate project profitability.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• 2–3 years of experience in a large construction or interior fit‑out company.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cost Control System (CCS) for tender finalisation.
• Ability to prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from project drawings.
