Events Manager

About the role

The Events Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and full‑lifecycle delivery of Stern@NYUAD’s event portfolio. Reporting to the Associate Director of External Relations, this role ensures events support institutional priorities, enhance the Stern brand, and provide a high‑quality experience for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end event project management and operational readiness, acting as the on‑site decision‑maker.
• Define and uphold institutional event delivery standards and develop scalable event systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Drive post‑event analysis, continuous improvement, and maintain master timelines and readiness reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, overseeing relationships, service accountability, and performance.
• Direct logistics strategy across venues, catering, branding, and technical needs while mitigating logistics risks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including Marketing, Admissions, Facilities, Executive Education, and leadership offices—to translate event goals into operational plans.
• Manage event communications, content capture, digital presence, and promotional logistics to ensure consistent branding and guest experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, event management, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of event management and organizational experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience supporting candidate, student, or customer engagement.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage fast‑paced tasks and respond effectively to real‑time issues.
