Excavator Operator – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock and other materials, supporting site preparation, trenching, foundation digging and utility installation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavators, long‑reach, GPS and its attachments in a safe and efficient manner.
• Excavate trenches, perform rockworks, reclamation and other earthworks according to specifications.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections and daily equipment checks before operation.
• Load and unload materials using the excavator.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, report any issues.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, ground crew, and other machinery operators.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Comply with local, state and federal safety regulations and procedures.

Required profile

• UAE Heavy Tractor/Heavy machinery License number 8.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, rock works or reclamation activities.
• Proficient in English (reading and writing).
• Broad expertise in operating multiple types of excavator.
• Knowledge of GPS systems is an advantage.
