About the role

The Mangroves Abu Dhabi is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations for this luxury hotel. In this senior position you will shape the dining experience, uphold the highest standards of food quality and drive profitability across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Direct culinary operations by overseeing preparation and production of hotel meals, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, cost control and overall profitability.
• Enhance menu offerings in partnership with the Food and Beverage Director, creating new menus and items that reflect current food trends and regional tastes.
• Engage with guests and clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns and continuously improve the dining experience.
• Monitor financial performance through budget management, forecasting and reporting to meet financial targets.
• Optimize kitchen systems, processes and workflows to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Cultivate a high‑performing team by driving engagement, retention, performance management and professional development.
• Uphold regulatory excellence by ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.
